Speaker:Today I wanna talk to you about candidate risk aversion.
Speaker:Some real aversion to making moves and some of the reasonings behind
Speaker:it have been, you know, the phrase, Hey, I don't wanna be last in,
Speaker:first out when the recession comes.
Speaker:I know we're not in recession now, but I wanna be smart about that.
Speaker:Hey, you know, I don't, I don't know how all this is gonna shake out and
Speaker:I don't wanna be R in my decisioning.
Speaker:I'm gonna kind of wait and see, see what happens, et cetera.
Speaker:Some of it has been.
Speaker:There's just been a lot of newer players come into our market and folks
Speaker:are saying, Hey, you know, we, we, we are gonna wait and see what they do.
Speaker:Let's see how committed they really are to being here.
Speaker:It's not a new concept.
Speaker:We have definitely seen it throughout the years.
Speaker:I wanted to share this message, especially for, you know, hiring managers.
Speaker:If you've sensed frustration in your recruiting efforts, if you feel
Speaker:like, Hey, I've been on a search and I haven't seen the quantity
Speaker:of candidates that we normally do.
Speaker:This is a lot of what's going on.
Speaker:And the same time candidates, if you are having these feelings,
Speaker:believe it or not, and this sounds weird coming from a recruiter.
Speaker:I still believe that making a career move is a tremendous
Speaker:decision for you and your family.
Speaker:If you are not sure, you probably do need to wait.
